One of Ambreia R. Meadows-Fernandez’s goals is being a good mom, but she’s realized she can shape parenting in whatever way she wants it to be – and that still makes her a good mother.
Going against the grain of what a mother is supposed to be is how she decided to intentionally parent. She didn’t want the traditional role of wife and mother, but eventually found a way to be the type of mom she wanted to be.
She shed the expectations of a traditional mother role and then ended up finding herself taking on some of those roles in the end.
She does this by knowing how to advocate for her children and researching as much as possible.
