Figuring out what it takes to be a working mom of 2 is a whole job and figuring out how to go back to work after having a baby was my mission for these last 4 weeks.

Now I’m not saying I’m a pro, but these things are my must do’s to keep my sanity as I return to work after having my baby and while pumping breastmilk at work. 

Being a working mom is not for the faint of heart, but it can be done as smoothly as possible.

  1. Get prepared the night before
  2. Ask colleagues for updates and help
  3. Talk to family about what you need
  4. Stop trying to do it all
  5. Manage expectations for yourself and others
  6. Drink water
  7. Phase yourself in
  8. Treat yourself
