Figuring out what it takes to be a working mom of 2 is a whole job and figuring out how to go back to work after having a baby was my mission for these last 4 weeks.
Now I’m not saying I’m a pro, but these things are my must do’s to keep my sanity as I return to work after having my baby and while pumping breastmilk at work.
Being a working mom is not for the faint of heart, but it can be done as smoothly as possible.
- Get prepared the night before
- Ask colleagues for updates and help
- Talk to family about what you need
- Stop trying to do it all
- Manage expectations for yourself and others
- Drink water
- Phase yourself in
- Treat yourself
